Baja California is a very beatiful area with a great variety of wild life. In order to keep it that way, we need to help stop:

Shrimp Trawling:

Trawling is a type of fishing that involves dragging a fish net the water. This is having a great affect on the population of vaquita marinas. A Vaquita marina is a small porpoise which lives only in Mexico's Upper Gulf of California. There are 150 vaquita marinas left in existence, this is a result of shrimp trawling. In an attempt to protect vaquitas, fisherman are exchanging there harmful fishing gear for vaquita safe fishing gear and also Mexico is trying to establish a no fishing area in the place that the vaquitas are.
